AAG Enhancing Diversity Award goes to Dr. Jay Johnson

Congratulations to Dr. Jay Johnson, who is one of five named recipients of the  AAG Enhancing Diversity Award.  Dr Johnson is specifically cited for creating the Indigenous Peoples’ Knowledges and Rights Commission and subsequent follow-up events uniting indigenous scholars from across the world.  In addition he cited for his contributions to the AAG ALIGNED project and his role in enhancing diversity at KU and for his research on Indigenous peoples cultural survival and politics.
