Coll Top Finisher in Competition

Jim Coll, a Masters of Science student in Environmental Sciences, and an incoming Ph.D. student in the Department of Geography and Atmospheric Science took second place honors in the Graduate Engineering Association and KU Graduate Studies Research Competition.  Coll is the only MS student among the winners.  His presentation was titled, "Comprehensive Assessment on MODIS Daily Snow Cover Products and Gap-filling methods."  This topic was part of Coll's thesis research.  Coll is a student of Dr. Xingong Li.
