KU Honoring Brown for Receiving Woodyard Award

J. Christopher Brown, the director of the Environmental Studies program and a professor in the Department of Geography and Atmospheric Science, will be honored at a special reception for his recent achievement as a recipient of the George and Eleanor Woodyard Award in 2015.  The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, November 2 at 3:30 p.m. in the Malott Room of the Kansas Union.  Professor Brown will make a presentation about this work in international education followed by a reception.  

The Woodyard Award recognizes KU faculty members who have provided outstanding leadership in international education at KU.  The award also helps to fund the recipient's professional activities in the area of international education.
