Abinash Silwal

Abinash is from the beautiful country of Nepal. He is a Geomatics Engineer by profession and is very interested in space-based geospatial technologies for environmental benefits. He loves using remotely sensed satellite data to map the earth and use it in monitoring and analyzing different kinds of disasters. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Geographic Information Science with more focus on water resources and hydro climatology.



Talking about his hobbies, he enjoys most of his time being indoors. He follows a number of sci-fi and fantasy genre movies and television shows. He loves reading books and writing articles. When forced outdoors, He enjoys hiking, playing football, and traveling to new places. He is an aspiring chef, space enthusiast, and a big fan of Elon Musk. He spends a large amount of his free time exploring the latest technological advancements in the Geospatial and IT world.
