Gaurav Parajuli is pursuing a Master's in Geography and Environmental Studies at the University of Kansas, with research focused on flood mapping, remote sensing, and SAR/LiDAR-based hazard assessment.

Teaching —
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Geography and Atmospheric Science, I support instruction in GIS, remote sensing, and spatial data science. In Spring 2026, I assisted with course delivery, lab sessions, and grading across GIS, spatial analysis, and geography courses. In Fall 2026, I am teaching labs for R for Spatial Analysis, helping students apply programming and statistical methods to spatial datasets and build foundational skills in spatial data science.
