Biography —
Jeff Krecic is a seasoned geospatial professional and educator with over 15 years of experience applying advanced remote sensing, UAV technology, and GIS solutions across engineering, infrastructure, and government sectors. Currently a Lecturer at the University of Kansas, Jeff teaches Cartography, GIS, and Remote Sensing, sharing his industry expertise with the next generation of geospatial leaders. His past roles include Geospatial Project Manager at Alynix and leadership positions at Tepa Companies, where he oversaw survey, mapping, and UAV operations. With a Master’s in Geography from the University of Kansas and an M.S. in Management from Baker University, Jeff blends technical precision with strong project management skills. He is also an active contributor to the KU Geography and Atmospheric Sciences Alumni Advisory Board, supporting student mentorship and departmental growth.
